The University Village Albany (UVA) Community Center is a recreational facility located at the University Village Albany (UVA) housing complex. The space is designated specifically to support student residents and non-student residents (17 years and older) living at UVA. All residents (17+) are able to access the facility free of charge.
The facility includes cardio and weight equipment, an open gym, and 5 Peloton bikes, including full access to Peloton programming, including live and on-demand cycling classes, yoga, and weight-lifting classes.
The community center is located at 1125 Jackson Street, Albany, CA 94706.
Campus-wide recreation
All UC Berkeley students are also automatically provided with a Recreation & Wellbeing membership (covered by student fees). Sign your RecWell Activity Waiver to get access to facilities campus-wide like the Recreational Sports Facility (RSF), join a group fitness class on campus, or take a lap in one of RecWell’s swimming pools.
Non-student UVA residents can also purchase day-passes to RecWell pools or register for fee-based personal training sessions, instructional fitness classes, Martial Arts classes, and Adventures equipment rentals.
Children and adolescents (ages 2-18)
While the community center is restricted to residents 17 years and older, a wide array of programming is available for youth at UC Berkeley, including early learning and care for infants, camps for youth ages 4-17, and teen programs.
